March Newsletter: Spring Detox & Small Joys

Updated: Apr 10

Hello community,

March, we made it! The last few months felt like a mix of hunkering down in my clinic, buried in research, or tucked up with a good book. Now? I’m ready to reenter the world and embrace whatever 2026 has in store. Spring is here, the perfect time for a gentle reset. The detox included in this newsletter is easy, gentle, and effective. Now is the time to renew your body, just as the seasons renew themselves.

My clinic has been busy with clients experiencing various issues, including gut problems, nervous system dysregulation, hormonal imbalances, skin issues, parasites, and sleep disturbances. If you’re struggling with any of these, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to offer a free 15-minute consultation to understand what’s happening for you.

Celebrating Small Joys

I also want to take a moment to celebrate small joys. Recently, I got a new basket to transport my herbs, and it has brought me so much happiness. What sparks a little magic for you? Here’s to Spring and finding pockets of joy that keep us going, even when the world feels heavy.

Detoxing Herbal Allies

Burdock Root

Burdock root helps the liver filter and eliminate toxins, supporting overall body detoxification.

Ginger

Ginger boosts circulation and digestion, helping your body move toxins out more efficiently.

Fennel

Fennel supports digestion and reduces bloating, aiding the body’s natural cleansing process.

Spring Detox Reset: A Gentle 2-Week Kidney and Liver Cleanse Plan

Spring is the perfect time to support your body’s natural detoxification systems. After winter, many people notice sluggish digestion, dull skin, fluid retention, fatigue, or hormonal flare-ups. A structured spring detox can help reset digestion, support liver function, and improve natural elimination. This is not about extremes or restriction. It is about supporting the organs that already detox your body every single day. See blog post for full instructions.

The Book Club

In ‘The End of Alzheimer’s,’ Dr. Dale Bredesen challenges the idea that Alzheimer’s is an inevitable part of aging. Drawing on decades of research, he presents a comprehensive program aimed at preventing and even reversing cognitive decline. The book combines insights into diet, lifestyle, sleep, stress management, and personalized medical strategies, showing how multiple factors contribute to brain health. It’s a hopeful and practical guide for anyone looking to protect their memory and mental clarity.
